1996 Rendering of Old South Church from Newbury St. Boston, MA

On location painting and drawing class at the Boston Architectural Center instructed by architectural illustrator and artist Paul McMahan. I drew the pencil outline and Paul took over and made it a work of art. He is an accomplished watercolor painter and professor of architectural delineation and history. I was happy to revisit the subject in the Old South Church this time as seen from in front of the Boston Public Library twenty years removed from the class in the summer in the Back Bay.
