Wesley United Methodist Church - Worcester, MA is completed!
The large silver and tan stone Gothic Church on Main St in Worcester Ma two doors down from the former Worcester Superior County Courthouse was built in 1881. It is the Wesley United Methodist Church. Sparkling in the winter morning sunlight, the Rose window and massive Bell Tower are the finest examples of Neo Gothic architecture in central Massachusetts. Rising to the right along State street the copper spire, which has oxidized a faded green from wild changes in temperature over 100 plus years, can be seen above the near roof ridge. It is located above the transept.
