City Hall Worcester Massachusetts - Next Rendering
Italianate in style the City Hall on Main Street in Worcester Massachusetts was once the tallest building when it was built in the late nineteenth century. It is currently tied for the fourth tallest. I remember catching the bus in front as a young boy with my sister and younger brother back when the Galleria was a good place to see a matinee and enjoy an orange julius afterward. The bus hub is now behind what used to be the Galleria on what is called Major Taylor Boulevard, formerly called Worcester Center Boulevard.
Granite walls with Romanesque arched windows support a red hip roof and high tower.
