Weston Town Hall, Weston, MA - Finished!

Weston's Town Hall is Federalist Revival as it was built in the 1917. It's color and context are in keeping with most municipal architecture in suburban Boston. It was a fun project to do. I took the picture this past summer on a warm beautiful afternoon. The woman in the foreground was nice enough to pose for the portrait. I do not know her but she adds a certain human feeling to my painting. 2016 was a good year for painting. Lots of ideas and subjects turned into good practice. In some cases commissions. 2017 should be as productive as I am confident I will find more lasting projects.
