Newlyweds and their Portrait I painted in May 2016

This young brides aunt contacted me last winter about a house portrait she wanted to have painted for her niece's wedding gift in October. She found my website as she searched for another artist who was from Shrewsbury. She then called me and we agreed to wait for the spring and summer before she took the picture of the newlyweds new home so that I could begin a picture of it on a warm sunny day with green grass and big shade trees. I added the couples young Boston Terrier puppy on the front porch in front of the front door. Karen emailed me separate pics of the dog for me to reference. I finished the portrait and offered a frame that I typically use. She politely declined and I am glad she did. What she came up with is much better.
